Great article Nick.
It’s quite crazy to realise that what you actually need to do to be happy is usually the opposite of what your brain tells you to do. I mean, devaluating yourself, isolating yourself and so on are sort of intuitive copping mechanisms, they don’t work, and every time I realise that, but it’s really hard to go against what you’ve built as a habit for years.
I will definitely continue working on it though, it’s worth the struggle!
