I don’t use a case on my iPad and I don’t see the need for one. Which reduces the weight of my device.

Weight distribution is very important when we’re talking about weight. And the dense Magic Keyboard for iPad plus the iPad feels very heavy to me. Numbers might prove me wrong, but these numbers don’t mean anything if the product *feels* heavy to me.

The Magic Keyboard for iPad turns a tablet into a computer. It makes the entire product weight as much as a laptop, while being a tablet, which is kind of non-sense to me.

I appreciate you doing the maths, I’m honestly surprised to see that the iPad + keyboard in the Canopy sleeve isn’t much lighter than the Magic Keyboard for the iPad. This setup seems a lot heavier, bulkier and less portable to me, for some reasons. Again, I think it’s all about feels, and less about what the scale says.

Thank you for your POV and for reading.
