Yes, it feels so much better to do what feels right. Seeing the bigger picture, or even thinking about your own situation as a freelancer is something super hard.

I definitely learned that I needed to give myself time to think about how I feel about a client, a project, my own job. I also learned that even if you have a lot of free time, that doesn’t mean that you are still available to do things, since you might be out of mental energy.

Time without energy is worthless. I’m happy to get my energy back now.
